Welcome to Layer Launch! To enable smooth production dispatch, real-time slicer calibration, and instant status updates, we utilize a highly protected cloud database architecture. Rather than keeping files entirely separated on individual devices, your submissions are transmitted and synchronized in real time to our central operational network so our print technicians can process and complete your jobs efficiently.
1. What Information Is Gathered?
To compute realistic slicer estimates, catalog printing inventories, and orchestrate deliveries, the portal securely logs:
- Customer Identity: Name and contact metadata (Email Address, Phone Number).
- Delivery Information: Physical delivery address to route shipments and package handoffs.
- Print Model Diagnostics: Mesh names, calculated volumes, dimensions, weights, density percentages, selected filament categories, and computed slicing speeds.
- Mesh Source Files (.stl/.3mf): Mesh configuration data is processed and securely archived within the operational database (using dynamic sequence packets to support infinite file sizes).
2. Database Sync Security (Enterprise Grade Safeguards)
We take protection extremely seriously. Your coordinates, contacts, and models are synchronized safely:
- All transmissions are encrypted via SSL/TLS pathways, protecting submissions from intercept.
- Security protocols isolate database workspaces under strict, custom-token system credentials. Users can only view their active requests, while authorized owner roles gain write control.
- Information is stored under a structured collection hierarchy (`/artifacts/{appId}/public/data/`) specifically compartmentalized per instance.
3. Third-Party Sharing Rules
We never sell, rent, or trade your creative blueprints or contact details with advertisers or external entities. Your designs remain your personal intellectual property, accessible exclusively to you and our dispatch operator for production setup.
4. System Erasure & Data Control
If you wish to purge database metrics or cancel submissions, you have full control. Print orders can be deleted by our administrative portal operator or directly from your customer queue during the 5-minute cancellation grace window. Administrative users also have the ability to execute a complete global catalog database wipe if required.
